Robert Capa once said, “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.” He was talking about war photography, but we’re going to apply the same reasoning to our nature photography in this session. Similar to the Patterns and Textures session, we’ll talk about getting close and how to organize a detail shot.

Things to bring.
A macro lens or any closeup equipment would be useful for this session. A good tripod and head will also be of benefit. Any reflectors or diffusers to control light might prove helpful.
