Our Storytellers. Admission
is $5 daily or $8 weekend. Free for BHSU faculty, staff and students
with I.D. and fee for elders (55 and up) and children (5 and under).
Grand entries are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and
7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. Contest Categories include traditional,
grass, fancy, jingle and shawl as well as golden age (55 & up),
adults (18 and over), teens (13-17), juniors (7-12), and tiny tots (6
and under). A total of $8,000 in prize money will be awarded. Drum pay
will be awarded to the first 15 drums paid daily. Lakota Omniciye
Royalty, Miss Lakota Omniciye and Junior Miss Lakota Omniciye, will be
honored.
