He has taught at the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh, at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, and at John A. Logan College in Illinois. He teaches courses in Comparative Politics and International Relations. His research interests revolve around issues relating to the evolution and role of the Third World state, post-colonial studies, and comparative political economy.
