Hours and Rates

Hours of Center operation are 7:00AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday. The Center follows the University calendar and is closed on holidays. The Center is open 11 months of the year, closing during the month August.

Registration and Supply Fees:
Parents are assessed a registration fee of $25.00. A supply fee is assessed each semester. For children under the age of two; the fee is $34.98 and children three years and olde; the fee is it is $40.28. The supply fee covers materials used on a daily basis to operate the Learning Center.

Hourly Rate:
$2.65 per hour for children two years old and under.
$2.50 per hour for children ages three years and older.
A 26 hour minimum per week is required for each child. Contracts are completed on a semester basis.

Food Program

The BHSU Child Care Center participates in the federal Child and Adult Nutrition Food Program. To be eligible for this program, the Child Care Center agrees to provide the children with a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack each day according to federal food guidelines. Parents are required to complete a confidential financial statement that determines the child's eligibility. For those families that are not eligible, food expenses are:

Breakfast is $1.10
Lunch is $2.00
