Effective academic advising is a crucial aspect of your college education. You save time and money by taking only the classes you need, by taking them in the right order, and by finishing your degree as quickly as possible.
The very best place to start is to see you faculty advisor. All students who have declared their major are assigned an advisor in your respective program. To find out who your advisor is, log into Web-advisor and click on "My Profile". No advisor listed? Call the Center for Academic Success at 642-6106. Need to change or officially declare your major? Just stop by the office of your respective college and speak to the secretary. If you plan on majoring in Education, stop by and see Patty Clarkson in Jonas 203. For Business and Natural Science majors, see Elise Kietzmann in Meier Hall 337. For students majoring in the Liberal Arts, see Shelby Cihak in Jonas 108.
