Why Should You Take the Focus Assessment?
Studies have shown that FOCUS can significantly improve the quality of your career planning by helping you to identify realistic career goals and take action on them, improve your awareness of your talents, interests, values, and personality, assess your potential to succeed in a variety of fields, and allow you to better understand how to self-manage your career. FOCUS contains one of the most comprehensive databases of occupational and educational information available today, both on the Internet and in publication. Trained professionals have gathered information from the U.S. and State Departments of Labor, trade publications, Internet affiliates, and through interviews with people working in the occupation to compile their data.

Feel free to contact the Student Success Center to schedule an appointment at 642-6951 for a FOCUS follow-up. The Advisor will go over your assessment results with you, assist you to clarify your goals, and give you additional information on majors and careers.
Cost:
For current BHSU students, the cost to take the FOCUS assessment is absolutely free. If you are not a current BHSU student, the cost is $10.00.
