What is a Multimedia Classroom?

A multimedia classroom is configured with instructional multimedia equipment and designed to assist presenters with incorporating technology into their presentations. Multimedia classrooms have ceiling mounted projectors, computers, document cameras, DVD/VCR players, projection screens, speakers and amplifiers. Some are also equipped with SMARTBoards and large screen TVs.

There are 57 multimedia classrooms located in following buildings across the BHSU campus:

  • Jonas – 24
  • Jonas Science – 5
  • Library – 1 (GEC)
  • Life Science – 5
  • Meier Hall – 9
  • Pangburn – 1 
  • Woodburn – 7
  • Young Center – 5

The Digital Media Resource Services (DMRS) offers a variety of services to help you with your presentations, publications, and other types of media content. Located on the main level of the E.Y. Berry Library this department provides support for the production of audio, video and electronic media used in academic and research presentations.
