Voicemail Setup
- Dial the Retrieval number which is 9-642-7343. This connects you with the Voice Messaging System. You will hear a welcome greeting.
- It will prompt you to enter a temporary security code of 1-2-3-4.
- It will prompt you to enter a Permanent Security Code. Enter your new security code then press #. It will now repeat your security code. NOTE: Your security code can be any number 4-8 digits long that doesn’t begin or end with zero.
- It will prompt you to select a greeting. You can choose from the following greetings:
- Press 1 (Standard Greeting w/Number)
- Press 2 (Standard Greeting w/Name
- Press 3 (Personal Greeting)
Your mailbox is now set up.

Logging In
- From your extension dial the retrieval numer which is 9-642-7343 , enter your 10-digit phone number. Press 7 to interrupt your message. Enter your security code for your personal extension. Press 1 to listen to messages.
- From another extension dial 9-642-7343. Press # * to interrupt your message, enter your 10-digit telephone number, and follow prompts.
- From out of town dial 605-642-7343. Enter your mailbox number (which is your 10-digit telephone number) and your security code.
Hints
- Press "#" when you want to bypass the voice mail greeting and go directly to leaving a message.
- Press "33" when you are listening to a message and want to get to the end of the message fast.
- Press "0" at any time for help or additional prompts.
- Press "*" at any time to cancel a previous entry or to disconnect.
- To get messages faster, turn on "Auto Play". Messages will play right away and you won’t have to press "11" to check unheard messages. This feature is found under Main Menu – Personal Options – Administrative Options – Auto Play.
- If you want your message to always record date and time, you must set it up. This feature is found under Main Menu – Personal Options – Administrative Options.
- When you are ready for fewer voice instructions, switch to "Rapid Prompts" under Main Menu – Personal Options – Prompt Levels.
- To forward all calls to voice mail dial *39 9-642-2034. *40 cancels the forward.

Automatic Callback Calling
After receiving the busy signal:
- Hang up
- Lift receiver and dial *77
- Listen for confirmation tone
When both lines are open, you will receive
three short rings. When you lift your receiver
you will hear the other line ringing.
To deactivate Automatic Callback Calling:
- Dial *78
(It will auto deactivate after 30 minutes.)
Call Forwarding
To forward your calls to another number:
- Dial *39
- Dial the number you wish to forward your
your calls to
- Listen for confirmation tones
- Hang up
To deactivate Call Forwarding:
(If forwarding to a line that is busy/no answer
repeat procedure twice within two minutes.)
Call Hold
To place a call on hold:
- Depress switchhook and release
- Dial *12
- Lay handset down. Do not hang up!
To remove your call from hold:
- Depress switchhook and release
- Dial *12 or
- Hang up and phone will ring you automatically.
Call Pick Up
To answer a ringing phone in your office:
Call Transfer
To transfer a call to another network extension:
- Depress the switchhook and release
- Dial the number you are transferring to
- Announce the call
- Hang up
- If busy/no answer, depress switchhook twice
Three-Way Calling
To place a three-way call:
- Call first party
- Depress switchhook and release
- Call second party
- Depress switchhook and release
Speed Calling
To program a Speed Calling list:
- Dial *74. (short list (6) - #2 – 7.)
- Dial 1-digit Speed Call Code
- Dial complete telephone extension
- Listen for confirmation tones
- Repeat these steps for each number you are programming.
To place a Speed Call:
- Listen for dial tone
- Dial the Speed Call Code for the number you wish to dial
- Enter # after Speed Call Code
