The University Assessment Committee met Monday, April 2 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Meier Hall Conference Room. Present were: Earley, P. Carriveau, Alsup, Hagerty, Dugan, and Simpson. Absent were: Haislett, Sarkar, Calhoon, Romkema, and Chandler.

Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction (MSCI) Reading and Technology - A motion was made and seconded to accept. Motion passed.

Communication Arts and Mass Communications - A motion was made and seconded to table. A request was made that Babbitt supply quantitative data on portfolio and internship rubrics and explain statement each professor reviews the portfolio. Motion passed.

Composite Physical Science - A motion was made and seconded to accept plan to assess new major. Motion passed.

Master of Science in Integrative Genomics (MSIG) - A motion was made and seconded to accept plan to assess new program. Motion passed.
