The University Assessment Committee met Monday, Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. in the Meier Hall Conference Room.
Present were: Earley, Sarkar, P. Carriveau, Romkema, Alsup, Chandler, Duggan, and Simpson. Absent were: Haislett, Calhoon, Colmenero-Chilberg, and Hagerty.

Theater - Moved and seconded to accept as a proposed plan of evaluation. Motion passed.

History - Tabled until next meeting. A request was made for a more detailed explanation of plans for improvement of the major.

Business Administration - Moved and seconded to accept. Motion passed.

Political Science - Moved and seconded to accept. Motion passed.

Psychology - Moved and seconded to accept. Motion passed. The report was recommended as a model for others.
The committee requested that all faculty be reminded they should be collecting data now on undergraduate research, intensive writing, and global issues for inclusion in reports next year.
The next meeting will be Monday, March 12 at 9 a.m. in the Meier Hall Conference Room.
