Hewlett-Packard (HP) has set up a funding initiative that benefits both K-12 schools and colleges and universities. The 2007 HP Technology for Teaching Grant Initiative provides a $19,000 cash grant as well as computer equipment to awardees. Its focus is on education innovation, and proposed projects will show how the applying college or university intends to create a mobile technology environment.
