The National Institute of Justice is accepting applications from institutions of higher education, states, local governments, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, and individuals for the Communications Technology grant program.
The Institute seeks applications to research, develop, and evaluate, emerging communication technology solutions for criminal justice agencies.
The deadline to apply is Nov. 14, 2007. The amount awarded all depends on the availability of funds. The Institute has rarely awarded a research and development project more than $500,000.
