The Math and Science Partnership (MSP) program is a major research and development effort that supports innovative partnerships to improve K-12 student achievement in mathematics and science. MSP projects are expected to raise the achievement levels of all students and significantly reduce achievement gaps in the mathematics and science performance of diverse student populations.
This a reminder that the Black Hills State University Chiesman Endowment has grant money available for faculty research. The research must be in the areas of democracy, civic education, law-related education, or the promotion of democratic principles and ideals. The endowment will award up to $6,000 to a faculty member, or it may be split among faculty members.
The Faculty Research Committee will consider proposals for funding at their next meeting if they are received by the Feb. 1 deadline.
