Step 2 - Meet with the Title IX-EO Coordinator

  • The Title IX-EO Coordinator will provide information regarding our investigation procedures and resources. 
  • TheTitle IX-EO Coordinator will conduct an initial interview and will ask for a statement to help establish the case.  As needed, interim measures to protect the interests of those involved in the investigation will be offered. 
  • The Title IX-EO Coordinator will then either formally investigate the matter or will refer the case to the appropriate  office/agency.

Step 3 - Outcome

It is the responsibility of theTitle IX-EO Coordinator to conduct a thorough, timely, and unbiased investigation. The Title IX-EO Coordinator will determine if the complaint has a reasonable basis. If a reasonable basis is established, the matter moves to the appropriate Vice President for adudication. The purpose of the Title IX-EO Coordinator is to assure a a thorought, timely, and unbiased investigation...not to make discipline decisions nor to issue sanctions.
