<description>The English&amp;#160;program recommends books we call “default textbooks” for each course. This is a list of the most commonly used books. However, students should not assume that these same books will be used in the course for which they are listed. It is best to speak with employees in the bookstore before purchasing textbooks.
The Penguin Handbook is used in both ENGL-101 and ENGL-201. Students are advised to keep their copies from ENGL-101 for ENGL-201.
