Black Hills State University invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in the area of Clinical Psychology with a begin date of August 22, 2010.

The successful candidate will be expected to be committed to teaching excellence and to maintain an active research program that provides opportunities for the involvement of undergraduate students. Teaching responsibilities will include Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Clinical Psychology and other courses within the candidate's area of specialization. It may also include General Psychology. The candidate will be expected to supervise internships for undergraduate students. This responsibility will require actively building and maintaining relationships with organizations and agencies within the community suitable for undergraduate internship placements. Black Hills State University seeks one admissions representative located in Yankton. Responsibilities include the following:

* Represent BHSU to prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process.
*Promote the Industrial Technology program and, specifically, the A.S. in Advanced Manufacturing in the Yankton area.
* Plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned high schools and territories and counsel prospective applicants on admissions requirements.
*Work with the Financial Aid Office on the BHSU campus to provide information and guidance to prospective students.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.

This position's home station is in Yankton. Evening and weekend hours may be required. Strong cross-cultural interpersonal and writing skills are necessary, including public speaking skills and the ability to present BHSU in a positive way to diverse populations. Ability to represent the admissions profession positively through a strong, student-centered ethic.
