Black Hills State University photography students are currently exhibiting new work in the Photographers Gallery, located in the basement of Jonas Hall on the BHSU campus through May 30.
The exhibit, Shutter Madness, consists of over 100 photographs from more than 50 students. The work includes conventional black and white, color, and digitally produced photographs.
The images in this exhibition were juried from three of the seven photography courses offered this semester at BHSU. These courses include two sections of Advanced Black and White Photography and one section of Advanced Studio lighting.
There will be a reception for the artists May 1 from 4-6 p.m. The students will be on hand to answer questions and share insights about their work. The public is welcome to attend. For more information contact Steve Babbitt, BHSU photography professor at 642-6769 or SteveBabbitt@BHSU.edu.
