Over 100 mathematicians and mathematics educators will attend the annual conference of the Rocky Mountain Section of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) April 25-26 on the Black Hills State University campus. This is the first time BHSU will host this regional conference.
With over 30,000 members, the MAA is the largest professional society that focuses on mathematics accessible at the undergraduate level. The Rocky Mountain Section of the MAA includes members from 55 institutions of higher education in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota.
Dr. Daluss Siewert, BHSU associate professor of mathematics, will serve as chair of the conference. For more information, contact Siewert at 642-6209 or DalussSiewert@BHSU.edu.
