Dr. Priscilla Romkema, dean of the College of Business and Technology at Black Hills State University, recently qualified for the 2008 Boston Marathon that will be held April 21.
Romkema qualified for her fifth Boston Marathon last summer while competing in the Leading Ladies Marathon that was held in Spearfish Canyon.
There are currently, more than 20,000 runners from around the world that are signed up for this year’s Boston Marathon, including 25 from South Dakota. The Boston Marathon is the oldest annual marathon in the world and is one of the most prestigious road racing events.
