Campus Ventures, an on-campus student organization at Black Hills State University, will be sending several members to volunteer in Chile to help build housing for disadvantaged youth March 13–24.
“This trip is a great opportunity to make a difference and help others in need,” said Drew Skjoldal, junior political science major from Shadehill. “It’s a worthy use of my spring break.”
The thirteen volunteers who will be going on the trip will take provide some goods and supplies to the local people. This is the second year that Campus Ventures members have traveled to Chile to assist with building projects. This year’s project is building a large dormitory style housing complex for an orphanage.
