Dr. David Cremean, Black Hills State University associate professor of English and humanities, has recently published a refereed article in the University of Utah Press book
Clint Eastwood: Actor and Director, New Perspectives, edited by Leonard Engel of Quinnipiac College.
Cremean’s essay, titled “A Fistful of Anarchy: Clint Eastwood’s Characters in Sergio Leone’s Dollars Trilogy and His Four ‘Own’ Westerns,” discusses anarchism as it appears in seven of Clint Eastwood’s western films.
A member of the BHSU faculty since 2002, Cremean received his master’s degree in English from the University of Dayton and doctoral degree in English from Bowling Green State University.
