Black Hills State University and the Chiesman Foundation for Democracy will host a celebration in honor of Constitution Day Monday, Sept. 17 at 12 noon in the Jacket Legacy Room of the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union.

BHSU senior history major Kelly Kirk, from Beulah, N.D., will speak about the transition from the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution. After her lecture, there will be time for informal discussion.

This is the third year BHSU and the Chiesman Committee have sponsored a speaker to celebrate Constitution Day.
