Professional artist, Mick B. Harrison, currently has artwork on display at the Ruddell Gallery located in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union on the campus of Black Hills State University.

Harrison has gained a reputation as an accomplished painter of western and prairie subject matter. His paintings tell stories and replicate the artist’s rural upbringing.

Harrison is a founding member of the Artists of the Black Hills, an organization of professional artists, galleries, and artisans is dedicated to establishing the Black Hills region as a prime source for producing high quality art.

Harrison works from his studio in Belle Fourche. His work will be on display in the Ruddell Gallery until Sept. 14.
