The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University has partnered with the CPA firm Casey Peterson and Associates, Ltd., to bring a 5-week webinar series, “Quick Lessons on QuickBooks.” A one-hour webinar will be held every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. MST/11 a.m. to noon CST beginning April 24.
The first webinar, “Getting started with QuickBooks” will be April 24. The schedule for the remaining four webinars is: “Working with Bank Accounts” May 1; “Entering Sales Information” May 8; “Working with Vendors and Payables” May 15; “QuickBooks for Nonprofits” May 22.
Leah Heidler, from Casey Peterson and Associates, Ltd. will present the webinars. Heidler is a member of the accounting and tax team at Casey Peterson & Associates and has been with the firm for four years. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a regular webinar presenter for the firm’s online QuickBooks training classes. She specializes in the farm and ranch industry, but also works with a number of other small businesses in the areas of accounting software setup, consulting, troubleshooting, as well as bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and sales tax.
