Black Hills State University music faculty will present an evening of French music Thursday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall. 

Featured works will include: Debussy, Ravel, Messiaen, Ibert, and others. Several works will also feature impressionistic depictions of nature, including Le Merle Noir (Blackbird), Le Cygne (Swan), and Poissons d’or (Goldfish). 

Faculty musicians include: Dr. Symeon Waseen, assistant professor of music, on piano; Dr. Jonathan Nero, assistant professor of music, on vocals ; Mr. Christopher Hahn, instructor of music, on trumpet; Mrs. Amber Waseen, adjunct instructor, on  flute; Dr. Nancy Roberts, assistant professor of music, on vocals; and Dr. Randall Royer, professor of music, on English horn.
