Black Hills State University will host the Fifth Annual American Indian College Scholarship Gala Saturday, Oct. 15 with the reception beginning at 6 p.m. in the David B. Miller Student Union Jacket Legacy Room. The scholarship gala raises scholarship funds for American Indian students attending BHSU.

Events will include: a presentation by nationally known artist, cultural/educational consultant, presenter, and storyteller, Monte Yellow Bird, Sr.; a silent auction; and a Native American banquet.
