Black Hills State University students recently elected new Student Senate leaders.

Incumbent Brittney Seitz, sophomore political science major from Black Hawk, was reelected as president with Sarah McFarland, junior business administration major from Selby, as vice president.

David Henry, junior professional accountancy major from Rapid City, was elected business manager.
Dustin Christensen, sophomore psychology major from Arlington; Robin Nakajima, junior instrumental music major from Newell; and Taylor Degen, freshman biology major from Alexandria; will represent the College of Arts and Sciences in the BHSU Student Senate. Amy Grable, junior business administration major from Rapid City, will represent the College of Business and Technology. Sara Pogany, sophomore elementary education major from Pierre, will represent the College of Education.

Student Senate members represent BHSU in the South Dakota Board of Regents Student Federation, allocating funds to student organizations and representing the student body on campus.
