scott_amanda_web.jpgAmanda L. Scott, Black Hills State University music major from Custer, will present her senior recital, “Triple Treble,” Thursday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the recital hall in Clare and Josef Meier Hall.

Scott will perform compositions spanning Baroque through 20th century music utilizing Bb trumpet, Eb trumpet and flugelhorn.

An Honors student who has studied trumpet performance at BHSU for four years under BHSU music faculty member Christopher Hahn, Scott intends to pursue her master’s degree in music therapy. She is the daughter of Allen and Kristi Scott of Custer.

Other performers will include BHSU music faculty members Hahn and Dr. Janeen Larsen and BHSU students Albin Spreizer, Kelsey Babb, Chris Larson, Drew Lerdal, Chris Roman, and Megan Shear.

The recital is open to the public at no charge, but donations for BHSU music scholarships will be accepted at the door.
