Black Hills State University is currently displaying artwork of current and former facility members in the Ruddell Art Gallery in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union. The exhibit, which includes a Termesphere by Dick Termes, is on display through Feb. 12.

Black Hills State University is currently displaying artwork of current and former facility members in the Ruddell Art Gallery in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union.

The Past and Present Visual Arts Faculty Art Show features pieces that were created by full-time, part-time or adjunct faculty members. “The variety of dedicated and talented faculty members throughout BHSU’s history continue to contribute to the advancement of the visual arts program,” notes Jim Knutson, professor of visual arts at BHSU. “The diversity of the exhibition aims to celebrate and honor the collective efforts of the many individuals that have helped to make BHSU’s visual arts department successful.”

The exhibit includes works from Winona Cook, the first visual arts teacher at BHSU; MarGretta Cocking; Diana Tollefson; Aldo Trucano; Richard Dubois; Dick Termes; Richard Hicks; James Knutson; Ann Porter; David Wilson; Frances Tetreault; Shawn Funk; Dan Binder; Dale Lamphere; Barb Hallberg; Lynn Thorpe; Paula Manley; and Dustin Hinson.
