Black Hills State University will host a Community and Campus Fair when new students arrive on campus at the end of August.
The BHSU Community and Campus Fair is scheduled during Green and Gold Days on Sunday, August 30 from 4–7 p.m. on the BHSU campus. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to provide information to be a part of this event, which will include music and a pig roast.
“Excitement on campus is building as BHSU prepares for the arrival of new students. Multiple campus improvement projects are being completed and orientation plans for new students are underway,” Dr. Jane Klug, director of student services says. “This year BHSU is excited about creating new traditions. We want our students to establish relationships with local businesses and organizations and become a part of our community.”
Booths are available for businesses and organizations. Table and chairs will be provided with a booth. Collaboratively, BHSU will welcome students and provide opportunities to establish relationships for future business and civic involvement. Give away items, coupons, and samples to create interest in your business or civic organization are encouraged.
