Kent Meyers, associate professor of English at Black Hills State University, will visit three different writing classes at Loyola College in Baltimore, Md. at the end of the month. He will discuss fiction and non-fiction writing, and contemporary literature.
He has also been invited to write the introductory essay for The Best of the West: Anthology of Classic Writing from the American West, which is an annual compilation of the best stories published in that year that are connected to the American west.
Meyers was recently accepted to be included in the next edition of Who's Who in America, the leading biographical reference publisher of the highest achievers and contributors from across the country and around the world.
Meyers received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota-Morris and earned his master’s degree in English from Washington State University. Meyers joined the BHSU faculty in 1986.
