The Black Hills State University Singers will hold a historical evening of theatre, dinner, and choral singing. The event will take place at Roma’s Ristorante at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22.
Performance artists will portray historical customs regarding dining, such as the legend of the mistletoe, boar’s head, wassail, and the lighting of the Christmas candle. During dinner the BHSU Singers and others will entertain guests with madrigals and familiar carols. After dinner has concluded the Singers will perform a concert of holiday songs.
Diners will have a choice of chicken cacciatore, beef burgundy, or pasta primavera.
Tickets are $35 per person and are available at Roma’s or by calling 642-6652 or 642-6133. This event is sponsored by the BHSU Music Department.
