Black Hills State University will host “You Really Can Have What You Want,” a financial presentation by Terry Mills, from Consumer Credit Counseling in Rapid City, Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. in Jonas Hall Room 304. Mills will discuss the importance of establishing and maintaining a budget and how having a controlled and well-defined budget will allow you to achieve your financial goals and help you get the things you truly want in life.

The presentation is the first in a series of financial seminars sponsored by the BHSU Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) in conjunction with Highmark Federal Credit Union. Four additional seminars will be held Wednesdays throughout the school year: “Twenty Sneaky Credit Card Tricks” will be Oct. 15; “What to Do When Things Go Wrong,” will be Nov. 12; “Importance of Your Credit,” will be held in February 2009; and “Steps to Take in Preparation of Making an Automobile Purchase or Purchasing a Home” will be held in March 2009.
