Aaron Sutton has recently signed a letter of intent to play basketball starting in the fall of 2008 for Black Hills State University. Aaron will provide immediate depth at the point guard position. Last season he played for Regis University in Denver, Colorado where he helped guide the Rangers to a 14-14 finish in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. While at Regis, Aaron appeared in 26 games starting in three of them. He averaged six points a game in just under 20 minutes per game.

Before attending Regis University, Aaron spent two seasons with Miles City Community College.  At Miles City Aaron averaged 15 points, four assists, two steals, and two rebounds. He was also a Mon-Dak All-Conference Selection.

Aaron was a 2005 graduate of Libby High School in Montana.  He helped guide his team to a State Championship in 2004 and lettered all four years. He averaged 18 points, five assists, four steals, and four rebounds per game. He was a two time All-State and All-Conference selection along with a High School All-American nominee. Aaron was on the honor roll all four years at Libby High School.

“We are extremely excited to have Aaron join our program. He will provide competition and depth at the point guard position. He is a tremendous student and will be a perfect fit to the Yellow Jacket Basketball Family” said Coach Sather.
