The Lady Yellow Jackets took on Frontier Conference opponent Rocky Mountain College in the Donald E. Young Center last Friday night. The first half stayed close as both teams traded baskets. The Yellow Jackets would go on a late run to close out the half going in with a four point advantage 38-34. In the second half the Yellow Jackets pulled away early to increase their lead by double figures. Rocky Mountain would make a late charge to close the gap. Black Hills State took the game 74-65 outscoring the Bears in both halfs. Black Hills State was led by senior Lacey Haughian with 16 points. Senior Snjezana Dojcinovic had 15 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore Bayley Chevron added 12 points.

The 10-2 Lady Yellow Jackets will travel to Billings, Montana this week as they take on Rocky Mountain College on Friday night.
