Black Hills State University will take off this Thursday on their way to Helena, Montana to face #2 Carroll College for the second time this season. In the first meeting on September 1, 2007 the Yellow Jackets lost 0-17 behind a strong Carroll defense. Since then the Yellow Jackets have won six straight games including a 52-0 win at Valley City State University to close out the regular season, helping them secure a piece of the Dakota Athletic Conference Title and a trip back to the NAIA Playoffs.

Offensively the Yellow Jackets are led by freshman quarterback Drew Hodgs who has guided the Jackets down the right path leading them to the playoffs. They will also feature freshman running back Tanner Ehrlich who has done a tremendous job leading the running attack. Defensively the Yellow Jackets will look to a veteran group to stop the Carroll attack behind seniors Rodney Wasche, Andy Seamann, Sid Colglazier, Nathan Batteen, Garland Sanders, and Tanner Tetrault.

Carroll College relies on a tremendous defense that has only given up a few points all year. Offensively they have a good balanced attack with run and pass behind a senior quarterback leading the way.

The game will be played on the Carroll College campus at 12:07pm MST this Saturday in the first round of the NAIA Playoffs.
