Columbia, Mo. - The Black Hills State volleyball team picked up two wins on Saturday to place fifth in the Columbia Invitational.

The Yellow Jackets defeated Concordia (Neb.) 30-12, 21-30, 30-28 and 30-28. Black Hills State then returned to the hardwood to knock off William Woods in the fifth place match 30-28, 30-27 and 31-29.

Freshman middle blocker Kristin Engle was named to the all-tournament team.

The Yellow Jackets will open conference play Wednesday, Sept. 6 at South Dakota Tech. The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
