Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University softball team will be holding the 5th Annual Yellow Jacket Winter Softball Camps and Clinics beginning January 16, 2011 at the Donald E. Young Center in Spearfish, S.D.

“The camps that we offer in January are a great way to brush up on hitting and pitching skills before the summer season,” said head coach Amy Gurney.  “Campers of any age can come and receive quality instruction from both collegiate coaches and players.”

The Yellow Jacket softball team will hold the 12 and under camp on Sunday January 16 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.  The 18 and under camp will be held on Sunday, January 23 from 12 noon-5 p.m.  In addition to these camps, the Yellow Jackets will also offer a pitching clinic for beginners on Sunday, February 6 from 12 noon-2 p.m. and again from 2:30-4:30 p.m.   The final clinic offered is for advanced pitchers on Sunday, February 6 from 5-7 p.m.
