Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men’s and women’s cross country teams will travel to the Mount Marty Invitational on October 23 in Yankton, S.D.  The women’s team is ranked No. 15 and the men’s team is receiving votes in the top 25.

The Mount Marty Invitational features runners from over 25 teams with each race hosting over 250 competitors.  There are teams from both the NAIA and NCAA and features schools from both the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).  Other schools competing include Augustana, Colorado College, Creighton and South Dakota State.

The Yellow Jackets will take to the course starting at 11 a.m. MT for the women’s race followed by the men’s race at 11:45 a.m. MT in Yankton, S.D., Saturday October 23, 2010.
