Spearfish, S.D. - The Yellow Jacket volleyball season opener against Haskell Indian Nations on Saturday, August 26 at 3 p.m. in the Donald E. Young Center will be free to the public Black Hills State officials announced today.
“We feel that allowing free admission into the home opener chance to experience Black Hills State volleyball for free will give the public a chance to see what we have to offer,” said athletic director and head volleyball coach Jhett Albers. “Our hope is that the community will come see an event that they might not regularly attend.”
The Yellow Jackets are returning five starters from the 2005 squad. Black Hills State was picked fifth in the Dakota Athletic Conference preseason coaches’ poll this season.
