Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University volleyball team will be hosting a breast cancer awareness match on Friday, October 15 against Mayville State at 7 p.m. MT.

“It seems that everyone knows someone with breast cancer,” said head coach Jen Weitzel. “A night like this is just a small way for us to show our support for the.  We are glad to be able to give back to the community.”

The Yellow Jackets will be wearing pink warm-up t-shirts and the coaching staff will also be wearing pink shirts throughout the match.  There will be a booth set up outside the gymnasium selling pink leis and doing a 50/50 drawing.  Fans are encouraged to wear pink shirts to the match Friday evening and help the Yellow Jackets support the fight against breast cancer.
