Minot, N.D. – The Black Hills State University women’s golf team is leading the Minot State Invitational after shooting a score of 345 on the first day of competition.

Sophomore Brandi Holmes posted an opening round score of 83 to lead all golfers.

"Today was a good day,” said head coach Jaime Bentley.  “We came out firing and our scores reflected how well we were playing.”

Black Hills State will return to the course on Monday for the final round of the Minot State Invitational in Minot, N.D.
