Fort Collins, Colo. – The Black Hills State University softball team lost two games on the final day of the Triple Crown Classic in Fort Collins, Colo.

The Yellow Jackets dropped the first game of the day 9-7 to Metro State.  The second game was a 3-2 loss at the hands of Colorado State.

“We played really well against some good competition,” said head coach Amy Gurney.  “It is nice to play a couple of games like this in the fall so that we can evaluate where we are at and what we need to do over the winter to prepare ourselves for the spring season.”
