Jamestown, N.D. – The Black Hills State University women’s golf team is in third place after the first day of the Jamestown College Invitational in Jamestown, N.D.

The Yellow Jackets posted a first round score of 354.  Junior Emily Chapman shot an 86 and is currently sitting in fourth place.  Brandi Holmes shot an opening round 87 and is tied for fifth place.  Black Hills State trails first place Minot State by 13 strokes and second place Dickinson State by seven strokes.

Black Hills State will return to the course on Monday for the final round of the Jamestown College Invitational.
