Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University Head Women’s Basketball Coach Mark Nore announced today that Highmore High School senior Bailey Kusser will join the Yellow Jackets for the 2011-12 season.

“Bailey is a great young player,” said Nore.  “She has a number of skills that will translate well to our program at Black Hills State.  I am excited to see her in a Yellow Jacket uniform.”

Kusser, a 5-9 guard, earned all-state honors and was a member of the state all-tournament team during the 2009-10 basketball campaign.  She has scored 1,047 points and dished out 392 assists so far in her high school career.  She was also named all-conference the past three years in basketball and the past two seasons in volleyball.  Kusser carries a 4.0 grade-point-average entering her senior year.
