Spearfish, S.D. – The Yellow Jackets softball game dropped the final two games of the regular season to the WNCC Cougars nine to three and seven to four respectively.

In the first game of the afternoon Katie Wagner led the offence one for three with two RBI and Heidi Kwilinski was two for four with one RBI. The Jackets could not get people to the home plate and struggled defensively. The Cougars scored nine runs on six hits.

The second game of the double header saw senior pitcher Karissa Norte on the mound. Aleshia Giesey led the Jackets swinging the stick she was two for four including a two run bomb to left field and Kwilinski was one for two with two RBI.

The Yellow Jackets will return to the diamond Friday, May 7, for DAC Tournament action.
