Jordan Rockwell has recently signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Black Hills State University beginning in the fall of 2010.  Jordan is currently a senior a Greeley West High School in Greeley, Colorado. 

“We are truly excited to have Jordan join our program. He will be the second Greeley West player that we have signed in the past four years.  He is a tremendous athlete and an incredible young man.  We are excited to welcome Jordan into our basketball family,” said Head Coach Bradd Schafer.

Jordan was a three year high school letter winner in basketball earning All-Conference in 2009 and 2010.  As a senior, Jordan was also named 2nd Team All-State, Greeley Tribune Boys Basketball Player of the Year, and Weld County All-Star Game MVP.  Jordan also was a standout in football earning Honorable Mention All-Conference and was a part of the Colorado State 4A quarterfinal team in 2009.

Jordan was a member of the Colorado 4A Top Academic Team in 2009.  “Jordan is a great student and he will be a great fit with the players that are currently in our program,” added Coach Schafer. 

Jordan joins former Weld County standouts Clay Pottorff and Craig Von Allman in the BHSU program.
