Spearfish, S.D. -  Rebecca Green, a senior at Rapid City Stevens High School, has signed with the Yellow Jackets to play softball.  Becky’s parents are Susan and Jim Green. She plans to major in Education at Black Hills State.

Becky is a catcher and infielder. She earned three varsity letters in softball through her career and led her team to one state championship and three runner-up finishes. She was also named to the 2009 all-state team in her Senior Year. Her accolades are not limited to the field; Becky is a solid student as a national honors society member in good standing and earning academic all-state honors.

“There have been many talented athletes on the Stevens High School softball team in the previous years, so it has been great to recruit from that talented group,” said head coach Amy Gurney. “Becky is a solid player and with all she has contributed to her high school and summer teams, we know she will make a difference to our team in her next four years at BH.”
