Minot, N.D. – The Black Hills State softball team dropped two games to Minot State on Saturday.  The Yellow Jackets were shutout in the first game 8-0 and then could not come back in the second game losing 3-2.

In the first game, Black Hills State struggled from the plate as Minot State’s Mandy Green erg through a no-hitter for the Beavers.  The Yellow Jackets fell behind early in second game of the doubleheader allowing three runs in the first inning.  Black Hills State battled back scoring two runs, one in the fourth inning and one in the sixth inning.

Black Hills State returns to the diamond on April 18 when they will face Minot State for another doubleheader.  The games in Minot, N.D. are set for 1 and 3 p.m. CT.
