Rapid City, S.D. –Black Hills State freshman Jenessa Rantapaa placed first in the S.D. School of Mines Invitational with a two-day total of 171.  Rantapaa won the tournament by three strokes.

The Yellow Jackets placed second as a team in the tournament with a score of 737.  Minot State won the tournament with a score of 727.  S.D. School of Mines was third followed by Dickinson State.  Jamestown rounded out the field finishing in fifth place.

Black Hills State will return to action on April 18-19 at the Black Hills State Invitational hosted by the Spearfish Canyon Country Club in Spearfish, S.D.
